The Association was formed in September 1974, with the aim of assisting the Parish Priest where needed.

We visit the sick and housebound and arrange Masses for those in need.

Twice a year, we organise a thorough cleaning of the Church and the silver and brass ware.

A parish Christmas Bazaar and a Summer Fete take place, and the Ladies help in any way they are needed.

The Ladies organise a weekly rota for meeting and greeting at Sunday masses, and on the first Sunday of the month, have a coffee morning after Mass.

Occasionally, some of the ladies open their houses for a coffee morning/ bring and buy, and we organise 2 quizzes a year, providing  social events, combined with raising  funds.

The fund raising has enabled us to sponsor a parishioner to go with the Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes in 2017. We are close to our target for 2018, to do the same
